I don't believe in making resolutions at the beginning of the year - past experience has shown that I either forget about them, or they never happen for whatever reason. I think that is because without meaning to, resolutions put a whole load of pressure on you to make sure you succeed in doing whatever it was you decided you were going to do during the year. Instead, I make goals and aims. That way, the pressure is off of me, and it allows me to have fun along the way. And if for whatever reason the goals/aims do not succeed, well then, at least I can say I did my best, but aimed too high and out of my reach at this moment. But just by shifting and re-wording that unreached goal/aim for the next year, well think about it - you are already there! which means that you will reach them. Well, that is my opinion anyway!
So for this year, I had no idea whatsoever, until that is I came across a new blog called the goddessguidebook! I fell in love with it, and have now decided that this year I am going to discover my inner goddess, let her shine through and make this year fabulous!
With the goddess year workbook and calendar I feel that I am on the right path for that to happen. One of the first tasks to complete is to choose a word for the year, I have thought about this and have come up with several to choose from. All I need to do now is to choose the right one:
serendipity, Fantabulous, vivacious, forgiveness, graceful,
sparkle, magical and delightful.
The only problem I have now is to decide which word I want as I want all of them! However thinking about it, I do have enough in my list for the next 8 years! I have come to the conclusion that the only way I will get the right word, is to throw it out into the universe. However, if you think you know which word is right for me to use, then don't be shy! Let me know!! Plus you never know, maybe you may find your perfect word in my delightful list!
So, what does one need in order to become the very best goddess you can be? I think that you need to start off with finding out what type of goddess you are.
